Child Safety

Roller blinds, Roman blinds, and other sun blinds that are adjusted with a chain or cord can pose a strangulation risk if they are within reach of small children. At Hasta, we naturally want to help you avoid this risk and have developed safety devices for all our sun blinds that keep the chain/cord out of reach of your children. To avoid risk, be sure to mount this safety device at a sufficient height and read the recommendations in the accompanying instructions carefully.

Installation height
Installation height is the distance from the floor up to the point where the blind is mounted. On made-to-measure blinds with a cord or beaded chain, the installation height is used to adjust the length of the operation so that it ends up at a child-safe distance (150 cm above the floor).
